*  Measures and fits band members for uniforms during summer practices

*  Maintains up-to-date records of uniforms by size, number, student, etc.

*  Uniform repairs – sewing

*  Shoe & sock inspection upon departure onto the buses or field 

*  Assists kids in cleaning shoes that don’t pass inspection

*  Assist band members with grooming and dressing before all events. Grooming includes making sure hair is tucked inside hats, pants are at the correct length, touching up imperfections on uniforms such as loose threads and lint

*  Provides forgotten items such as socks and gloves 

*  Places plumes on hats

*  Assists Band members with returning uniforms to garment bags and racks after events. (Teaching a teenager to hang up a pair of pleated pants is no easy feat!)

*  Collects uniforms for dry cleaning

*  Ensures uniform rooms are properly maintained
