Why Should I Join the ABPA?
There are many good reasons to join. First and foremost, it’s the best way to be in the know about everything band related. Gone are the days of information being sent home in a backpack. If your kid isn’t good with giving you all the details (like most teenagers), then we are your best bet!

To be a member in good standing as an individual, you must be the parent, guardian, or caregiver of a student in our Absegami High School Marching Band, inclusive of the band proper and the guard, at the beginning of the band year or at any time during the school year and have paid the required membership fee.

Any parent, guardian, or caregiver of a student in our Absegami High School Marching Band participating as a chaperone or in any other supporting role during any event must be a member in good standing. You must be a paid member to vote on any band parent issues, officer elections, by-laws changes, Ad Book cover art, to be able to chaperone any trips with the band, or for your student to be eligible for the ABPA Scholarships.
